Them Evils
Them Evils
THEM EVILS are a late-night joyride through rock and roll's seedy underbelly. Born in the shadows of neon vice and nocturnal living in Las Vegas, nurtured by the proximity of Hollywood's famed Sunset Strip, and cradled in the same Orange County, CA home that has become synonymous to punk attitude and hard-driving rock history, the leather-and-black clad trio pen unapologetic songs that bristle with a nasty energy befitting their name.

Inspired by equal parts of rock giants like Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, and Queens Of The Stone Age, among others, guitarist/vocalist Jordan Griffin, bassist Jake Massanari and drummer David Delaney pay tribute to their roots with every crushing note on their latest self titled EP, a 4-song homage to the unholy goodness that is THEM EVILS.

"We pretty much made our own scene," Griffin says. "We started out doing straight up rock and roll, and that's what we're still doing... that said, we're always evolving.”

Griffin and Massanari moved to Orange County, CA from Las Vegas in 2013, with nothing else to fall back on. It was there they met Delaney - the final piece of the THEM EVILS puzzle they'd been trying to complete for years. Two EPs later (their self-titled release and the lineup's Cold Black Love debut) they are set to embark on their longest tour to date, which includes a fall headlining jaunt set to run directly into a full tour in support of The Pretty Reckless.

Buckle up, this is gonna be one hell of a ride...
Big Monsta
Big Monsta
Big Monsta is a trio from Orange County, CA. Their sound pulls from a spectrum of influences ranging from blues, soul, to garage rock. Formed in 2012, their narrative aims to illustrate a different shade to the millennial generation.
Thunder Gut
Thunder Gut
Thunder Gut is a Southern California progressive rock band
The Sugar
The Sugar
The Sugar is a two piece rock n' roll band who came together through mutual friends in a stroke of fate at a random party in 2013. They've worked with other Orange County artists but felt it was time to change things up and work exclusively together, launching The Sugar. Based on their live sound, it's hard to believe they're just a two-piece. Simplistic in ways yet very dynamic.
Big Rig Dollhouse
Big Rig Dollhouse
Firing on all cylinders of Rock 'n' Roll and Rhythm n Blues, Big Rig Dollhouse brings you the most
explosive high-energy Rock 'n' Roll music.
Singer and Guitarist Rob Castle left England for the love of music. Settling into the Southern California scene, he soon set out to find the
screaming, classic Rock 'n' Roll sound that he so badly needed.
Finding first, the friendship of driven bass player Ty Tryon in August 2016. Ty has a similar interest of
breaking through the specific sound of Rock 'n' Roll and taking it to the next level. Scouring the players
of Southern California, they fatefully would cross paths with the heavy hitting, fire throwing,
experienced drummer that is Brian Dropkin.
The 3 piece sound was huge and infectious. The power trio was instantly locked in! The three of them
took to the road, getting fantastic responses and developing a faithful and committed fan base.
In the bands second month, Guitarist and roommate of Brian Dropkin (Drummer), Jarett Glodt saw the
magic and asked if the three would be interested in building the Dollhouse to a four piece. It was a
decision that gave the band the added dynamic of two lead guitars. With Rob’s fierce vocals, the
booming rhythm section of Ty and Brian, and the dueling, squealing, harmonizing and thunderous guitar
tones of Jarett and Rob, Big Rig Dollhouse was brought to its full potential and the line up set in stone in
September 2016.
Paying tribute to the legends of real rock n roll, Big Rig Dollhouse really captures the sound of late 60’s
to early 70’s rock music but with a very current feel and look. Channeling artists like Thin Lizzy, Led
Zeppelin, MC5, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Humble Pie and Funkadelic (to name a few), Big Rig’s influences
can be heard and felt in their music. With throwback references, modern day production, an amazing
live show, uncompromised talent and the drive to succeed, Big Rig Dollhouse is on a mission to bring
real rock music back to a world that is currently lost musically.
Within 3 short total months, Big Rig Dollhouse has gained almost 2000 likes on facebook, nearly 3000
followers on Instagram, has played many venues, bars, festivals, and are continuously out on the road
touring and building a strong and devoted fan base.
The Vespertines
The Vespertines
The Vespertines played their first show at a crowded Long Beach coffee shop in May 2009. The band combines an action-packed, genre-busting mix of indie rock, jazz, funk and reggae, all wrapped around Acosta's raw, emotional vocals and occasional jazz-trumpet freakouts. The band released an EP in late 2009, Gravity Optional, recorded at Long Beach's Compound Studio with Anthony Arvizu (The Mars Volta, Cold War Kids) and kept pushing onward, playing countless local shows anyplace they could fit a microphone into. In 2011, following a successful West Coast tour, the band returned to the Compound to record One Last Time Around The Equator, an album that "explodes in a combination of energy and harmonized jazz fusion" ( The Vespertines had successful residencies at Orange County's Detroit Bar and Harvelle's Long Beach, where the band curated six months of weekly shows that featured Big Sir (f/ Juan Alderete of The Mars Volta), Jeremiah Red, C-GAK (of RX Bandits), and Long Beach artists MODE, Bella Novela and Squarefish.

"Not every band has the musical aptitude to span more than one genre without turning it into a clumsy juggling act. Not only do The Vespertines successfully embody the styles of prog rock, funk, jazz, and more-- they make it look easy."

OC Weekly:

"Long Beach’s The Vespertines are that rare act capable of combining jazzy atmospherics with explosive rock power without wandering into wankery. Although their talents are sharp enough to construct complicated swirls of dub, prog rock and funk, their songs remain delectably coherent and digestible to the last note. " -Nate Jackson

"Backed by the effect-laden thrash of guitarist Alex Kater and bassist Kyle Cavaness and the rumbling power of drummer Chris P. Walker, vocalist/trumpeter Vanessa Acosta will definitely wake up anyone who might be ready to call it a night … If there's one thing the Vespertines proved, it's that their dynamic whirlwind of prog, dub and jazz deserves a much bigger audience. "

Sacramento News & Review:

"The Vespertines seem to float effortlessly from jazz to rock to reggae to dub. Vocalist Vanessa Acosta’s voice is powerful and soulful, with a bit of Gwen Stefani thrown in. Not the crappy 2006 version, more like the Tragic Kingdom Stefani, but more pensive. Plus she also plays the trumpet … It’s hard to imagine how a group could feel raw and sound refined at the same time, but the Vespertines manage that duality. "
