Thicker Than Thieves
Thicker Than Thieves
Defying the current state of popular music, Thicker Than Thieves successfully blends soulful vocals, searing guitar solos, and a rock-reggae based rhythm section to create a unique signature sound.

Thicker Than Thieves pump out a sun-baked and surf inspired mix of heavy, reggae inflected bass lines and blazing guitars. Influences ranging from Bad Brains, Bob Marley, The Clash, and classical composers like Dvork have allowed TTT to bring a multi-faceted yet widely appreciated original style to a diverse fan base. Primarily defined by memorable live performances,

TTT has entertained audiences at events such as Reggae On The River and the Vans Warped Tour. Thicker Than Thieves began with local acclaim in 2000, and by extensively touring throughout the western U.S.(including Hawaii), Canada, and Costa Rica. TTT has been widely accepted by all types of music fans. With band members from Costa Rica, Hawaii, and California, Thicker Than Thieves has a sound that stands on its own.

TTT is currently working on its 4th full length release with record producers Michael “Miguel” Happoldt(Skunk Records) and Louie Richards(17th Street Recording Studio) which best displays the unique talents and diverse songwriting skills Thicker Than Thieves brings to the stage. For this hardworking band, the philosophy is simple: play positive music that makes people dance, and to inspire the youth.
Rebel Shakedown
Rebel Shakedown
The new California Reggae superband formed on August 20, 2014. Since its formation the band has undergone several changes to create the sound it produces today. As of recently, the band now consists of former members of other well known bands in the Southern California Reggae scene. Together the members of Rebel ShakeDown have 30 years of tour experience.

Upon graduation at UC Santa Barbara, Josh returned to Huntington Beach, CA with one goal in mind. That goal has brought RSD where it is today. Josh, Peter and Tim have been sharing the stage together since their former bands performed together starting in 2009. Since the heartbreak of their previous bands Rebel ShakeDown arose from the ashes. Josh recruited Nicholas Marks after performing with Nick’s old band The Ole’s in Santa Barbara. One family reunion later and Laurence Rugley was brought into the picture as RSD’s Keyboard player.

Since it’s short existence, RSD has shared the stage with national acts such as HIRIE, Fortunate Youth, Eli-Mac, Leilani Wolfgram, Rome of Sublime w/ Rome etc… RSD released their first song titled “Don’t Rock My Boat” on November 23, 2014. They released their first EP album titled “World On Fire” on July 31, 2015. The EP album was produced with Lewis Richards of 17th Street Recording Studio and featured Casey and Matt from the band Seedless with percussion done by Travi Bongo of Fortunate Youth. Following the release of their EP album, RSD released an Official Music Video for their track titled “Soundwaves” which was again followed by their most recent single release “Lost In Ya Love.”
Low Budget
Low Budget
Low Budget began in a beach house garage on 40th Street in sunny Newport Beach, California. Years of surfing, skating, and devotedly playing Reggae Rock tunes while scribbling down lyrics on empty beer boxes, has brought the band to the launch pad of their career.

The beginning for Low Budget didn’t always consist of clear barrels, smooth half pipes, and harmonized sounds. Rather, it was the combination of hard work and talent that allowed them to continue towards a simple, honest mission: to have fun writing and performing meaningful music.

The band has always endeavored to write songs that people can connect with. The lyrics meld the personal and political; the music combines the energy of Reggae, with the infectious hooks of Ska and Punk Rock. Over the years, Low Budget has thrown themselves not only into the creation of their music, but into the connections they have made with their growing, loyal fanbase.

Low Budget continues to flourish as a band, adding new members that enhance the Southern California sound they are recognized for, along with playing major landmark venues such as the Coach House, Viper Room, Tiki Bar and House of Blues.

With the release of their new single, "Missy", the recording of their current EP, and a national tour on the horizon, there is so much more in the cards for Low Budget, so watch this space.
