The Higgs
The Higgs
Individually the band draws their influences from many different genres; all musical styles that contribute to their diverse sound. Because of the vast musical influence that each band member brings to their live experience, the audience is often left with a mixed bag of genres to grab onto. This band truly can appeal to anyone; from an improv rock fan to a soul jazz fan even to a wayward bar-hopper who thought they had no interest in any live band at all. The feeling you get when you witness such pure live music that this band produces, it provides an unforgettable energy that will send even the most jaded music fan home with a smile. The beauty of improvisation, as well as having such a wide array of influences allows "The Higgs" to communicate with many different types of people, and allows the freedom to have a great time in a diverse environment. Music is for everyone, and the band intends to keep it that way!

The Alpine Camp
The Alpine Camp
THE ALPINE CAMP is comprised of bass, drums, guitar, piano, pedals steel and banjo. THE ALPINE
CAMP could hang with the bluegrass crowd if it wasnt for the drummer. You could expect Gram Parsons
to waltz through the door since they can chicken pick with the best. But, at its core, the group is
an AMERICANA JAMBAND with POP sensibilities. Their live shows showcase the bands improvisational
prowess and run the gambit from ethereal soundscapes to balls to the wall shredding all framed
within the context of the great American songbook.

The band is supporting their latest release HYBRID in 2017, a collection of originals along with live
performances showcasing the bands aptitude for improvisation. With HYBRID they get the best of
both worlds, said Chris Bell its as close as you can get to our live show.

The band started as a way for Chris Bell and songwriting partner Charles Etienne to continue their
lifelong musical partnership. What started as a one off project, blossomed to include some of the most
deft players in Southern California. Im not sure why we get the best players. said Etienne. I like to
think its cause they like the music, cause we dont pay em much.

THE ALPINE CAMP has spread their mountain tinged jam far and wide since 2014. Since then they
have performed at Earth Jam, the California Oysterfest, and shared the stage with Atlas Genius, The
Brothers Comatose, Midnight North and The Motet amongst many others.
