David Rosales & His Band of Scoundrels
David Rosales & His Band of Scoundrels
“…invoking elements of R&B, gospel, rock, and western influences to dust
things up with a helping of soulful grit.”
– popMatters

“…epitomizes Americana folk, country, and blues.”
– NY Music Examiner

“…sweetly optimistic and fun-loving…”
– Guitar World Magazine

With his rich baritone vocal and hopeful melodies, Los Angeles-native,
David Rosales, comes from a place of deep content and shining optimism
in his debut album, Brave Ones, released on April 27th, 2018.

Drawing on the wide-open spaces of the Southwest and the smooth textures
of the Pacific Ocean, David Rosales & His Band of Scoundrels seamlessly
weave an alluring landscape of American roots music when translating the
album in a live setting. A sound that pairs well with contemporaries
they have shared the stage with in Ben Harper, Matt Costa, The White
Buffalo, Donavon Frankenreiter and Steep Canyon Rangers.

It’s impossible to deny the warmth and ease of Rosales’ songwriting
prowess throughout the 11 tracks as he seamlessly blends his vintage
sonic tastes with fresh vision. Crediting his love of classic Rhythm &
Blues and Country & Western singers Sam Cooke, Ray Charles and Johnny
Cash, coupled with his admiration for modern day troubadours the likes
of Ryan Adams, Amos Lee, Nathaniel Rateliff and Afie Jurvanen (Bahamas)
as being influential in the writing and recording process.

Brave Ones marks Rosales’ third collaboration with Co-Producer, friend
and Donavon Frankenreiter sideman, Matt Grundy. Looking for a change in
scenery, the duo recorded at Super Bloom Studios —a log cabin studio
that rests on the edge of the wind-swept expanse known as the Mojave
Desert in the shadow of California’s Mount San Antonio. The duo thrived
in this remote location, which became an unequivocal inspiration for the
recording sessions.
Daniel Bonte & The Bona Fide
Daniel Bonte & The Bona Fide
//Bo-na Fide adj. : real or genuine LAW: made or done in an honest or sincere way// Orange County's newest country band, Daniel Bonte & The Bona Fide are leading the charge to bring original & organic Rock Country to Southern California. Their sound has evolved from years of solo and collaborative songwriting, live performances, jam sessions after a double-shift, late nights with Jack Daniels, heartbreak, and feel good "Moments." It’s not your ordinary country and that's fine by them. If you like rock & roll, soul, blues, and the stories of country music then the Bona Fide will get your stamp of approval.
Rob Staley
Rob Staley
Rob Staley is a talented young Country Music artist living in Los Angeles, California. Since relocating from his small hometown of Plattsburgh, in rural upstate New York, Rob is quickly becoming a part of the fabric of the So-Cal country music scene.
Rob, the 26 year old country singer/guitarist, has not only talent and ability, but a genuine love and respect for “Real Country Music”… the kind performed by the great country legends, both past and present. Rob is “natural”, and he doesn’t have to struggle to sound like a country singer. His vocal style, while very polished and unique, is reminiscent of some of his favorite country idols, (Alan Jackson, Dwight Yoakam, Faron Young, etc…). His current live performances are geared towards country and western line-dance clubs, casinos and pretty much anywhere that enjoys good quality country music. Live performances range from smooth classic and current country to all out “roadhouse” and “honky tonk”.
One of Rob’s many achievements since moving to L.A. has been the formation of an amazing band featuring a line up of top-notch country musicians, all pros and all veterans of both the Nashville and L.A. recording and live music scenes. The next steps will be recording and album and booking more clubs, casinos, corporate events, etc.
Although he won’t boast to the face, Rob Staley is “Real Country”, you could say, “The Real Deal”… but he will readily tell you that he is proud to be a country singer and proud to be apart of the great American tradition of country and Western Music.
