Asi Fui
Asi Fui
Asi Fui began as electronic recordings between Tatiana Velazquez(bass/vocals) and Jacob Connelly(keys) in 2015. The two Long Beach, CA musicians blended synthesizer sounds, electronic beats and haunting vocals on a number of impromptu home studio recordings that eventually would make it to the ears of drummer Ryan Reiff (Free Moral Agents). After hearing the potential of these aural combinations, Ryan enlisted guitarist Miguel Vasquez (Wild Pack of Canaries) to join the group and the four began writing new songs which combined the moody vibes of the early recordings with live instrumentation.

Since their inception, Asi Fui has brought their lush sonic textures to many ears across Southern California. In September of 2018 they made their festival debut at Long Beach's Music Tastes Good Festival.

The band has completed recording their debut record and is in the process of finalizing the upcoming release due out in the Summer of 2019. With the album release on the horizon, Asi Fui is consistently experimenting with their sound, trying new innovative ways to write and arrange their music and looking forward to a future full of creative possibilities.
